Driveway installation in Coquitlam
We remove and replace driveways across Coquitlam in broom-finish concrete, stamped concrete, exposed aggregate and asphalt, along with matching walkways.

Working in Coquitlam
Many Coquitlam driveways from the 1970s to 90s have sunk or cracked because the base under them was thin. We break out the old slab, dig to firm ground, build a compacted gravel base, set reinforcing mesh and slope the surface to drain before pouring.
Hillside driveways on Westwood Plateau and Burke Mountain need extra attention to grip and runoff. Broom finish and exposed aggregate give better traction in the rain, and we cut control joints so cracking stays in straight lines.
What we build
- Concrete driveways
- Exposed aggregate
- Stamped and coloured concrete
- Asphalt driveways and paving
- Sidewalks and walkways
- Patio slabs, hot tub pads and garage pads
Concrete & asphalt driveways work

What clients say
Me & my demolition company worked with Premier Grounds Contracting on a large outdoor project and were extremely impressed. They handled excavation, grading, drainage, concrete work, retaining walls, fencing, and premium artificial turf installation, all completed to a very high standard. The team was professional, well organized, and clearly experienced in landscape construction and contracting, not just basic landscaping.
Thanks Gareth for restoring our damaged steps by a Hit and Run vehicle to our satisfaction. Any questions we may had you properly addressed. We highly recommend you and your team staff.
Concrete & asphalt driveways in Coquitlam: common questions
Which driveway finish is best for Coquitlam hills?
Broom finish or exposed aggregate. Both give good grip on a slope in wet weather. Stamped concrete looks great but is smoother and better suited to flatter driveways.
Do you replace the walkway at the same time?
Usually, yes. Pouring the walkway with the driveway gives a matching finish and saves a second mobilization.
How long before I can drive on new concrete?
Usually about a week for passenger vehicles, longer for heavy loads. We'll give you a timeline for your pour.
Do you handle the city sidewalk crossing?
Driveway letdowns and work on City property need municipal approval. We'll tell you what's required for your street.
