Fences and gates set to last through the wind and rain
We build cedar privacy fences, horizontal slat fences, aluminum fencing, chain link and custom gates, and repair storm-damaged fences.
Fence posts rot or heave first, so that's where we spend the effort: proper post depth, concrete footings shaped to shed water, and gravel at the base for drainage. Cedar boards are spaced and fastened to allow for movement through wet and dry seasons.
We also add fences and guards on top of retaining walls, which Coquitlam expects on walls over 0.6 m.

Questions we get asked
How high can my fence be?
Height limits are set by each municipality's zoning bylaw and differ between front and back yards. We'll check the rules for your property before building.
Can you replace just the rotten posts?
Often, yes. If the panels are sound we can replace posts and re-hang them.
Do you do fence repair?
Yes. Fence repair is mostly rotten or leaning posts, broken boards and sagging gates. We replace posts in concrete, rehang gates and replace sections so they match.
Do you install aluminum and chain link fences?
Yes. We install aluminum fences for pools, front yards and stratas, and chain link fencing for backyards, sport courts, dog runs and commercial sites.
